1. Remove the boundaries that are holding you back.

Think of a term or phrase that sums up your topic, and then brainstorm around that word. In the case of “Study Skills,” broaden your ideas to include “school.” After jotting down all the thoughts that come to mind when you think about school, start asking yourself open-ended questions on the topic and jotting down your replies.

My favorite part of school was…

What frightened me, and why?

In hindsight, what do I wish I’d known on Day 1?

You’ll be able to put yourself in the shoes of a student who is dealing with a variety of school-related challenges, and you’ll be able to better understand their fears and anxieties.

2 . Regain your concentration

Allow your attention to return to your initial subject of Study Skills once you’ve begun to comprehend the overall sentiments of your readers. What questions would you ask if you had a different perspective? What are you curious about? What’s the true issue here? Is it a lack of “Studying,” or is it a lack of “Time Management,” or a fear of failing that’s preventing you from working efficiently?

3. Be your own audience

Don’t stop until you have at least ten and ideally more questions on different sheets of paper. Continue to think as your readers do until you’ve addressed all of their primary problems.

4. Take a breather.

Put your questions on hold for at least a few hours, if not a whole night. Keep going about your business as normal without giving it any thought. Allow your subconscious to process things on their own, without your involvement. If fresh questions arise, note them down and then put them out of your mind.

5. Get a pen and paper out and start writing.

Sit down with your list of questions, and begin answering them one by one. If you enter your answers, you may lose out on some of the most creative aspects of your responses. At this point, you should not be critiquing your own work. It is also possible to circumvent the internal editor by using speech-to-text software or a digital recorder.

Just talk to the person as if they were sitting there in front of you, asking for your opinion. Maintain a conversational and informal tenor throughout the interview, and stick to a question-and-answer style.

6. Use caution when editing.

Trust your instincts and follow them. Wait until your essay has had a chance to “sit” before making any big edits, even if you spot glaring mistakes. In the event that your deadline doesn’t allow for an overnight break, it’s still crucial to give yourself some time away from the project.

In a rush, writing numerous articles at once might cause you to lose track of the one you’ve just completed since your attention will be diverted elsewhere.

7. It’s time to hone your skills.

If you’ve followed these guidelines, your short articles are unlikely to require much editing. Having each Q & A on a separate sheet makes it easy to pick only the ones you wish to include in your presentation. It’s now up to you to arrange them in a logical order so that the reader can easily follow along from one question and response to the next.

8. It’s all there at the end.

Write a teaser for the main content with a few lines of opening paragraphs. You’ll want to make sure that your two or three most important keywords appear at least once in the opening paragraph of each article that you submit to article directories.

This is a good time to sum up the article’s main themes and provide the reader some recommendations for additional research.
